Obituary for
Phyliss June Lusher
Phyllis June Lusher, 85, of Dry Branch, WV, went to be with the Lord December 3, 2017, after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her Loving Husband of 58 years, Willard Lusher; her father and mother, Leslie and Lona Slack; son Willard Jr.; brother Leslie Jr. and sister Betty Hammock.
Surviving are daughters, Darlena Knapp and Debra Runyan and her husband Tim; son Pat Lusher and his wife Lynn; grandchildren Christy, Brett “BJ” and his wife Krystal, Anthony and his wife Melissa, Adam and his wife Jenna and six great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
Sissy, as she was known to family and friends, was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her “happy place” was always at home where she devoted herself to putting her family above all else. She always had an open door at her house where she was known for her unmatched cooking skills. She loved spending time with grandkids and great-grandkids. She had a contagious smile and a great sense of humor. She left us all with wonderful memories to share and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Services will be held at Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank, WV, on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm. with Rev. Mitchell Burch officiating. Interment will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Cemetery.
