Obituary for Roger L. Pettit

Roger L. Pettit
Roger Lee Pettit, 60, of Dry Branch passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Moundsville; he was the son of Virginia Lilley Pettit and the late John Pettit. Roger was a Christian. He was a member of the UMWA.

Roger will be missed by his loving wife, Diane Pettit; four sons, Roger Allen Pettit, Steven Lee Pettit, Joseph Lee Johnson and his wife Dreama, and Henry L. Johnson; two sisters, Kay Crow and Sherry Tolor ; a brother, Mark Pettit; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Roger is preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Pettit. A celebration of Roger Pettit’s life will be private.
